“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8
A viewer gave this quotation in a comment on this blog. We can all learn from it.
We know, with the law of attraction, that we bring to us what we focus upon. Paul is here saying that when our mind and heart are uplifted by anything “excellent or praiseworthy” we are on the right beam. If this is our focus, positivity is with us always, and positivity breeds positivity, and along come all good things.
If we focus on the noble, the right, the pure, the lovely, the admirable, how can we not benefit, and benefit greatly? These words give us the adjectives to which we might cling. They give us a wake-up call, for who among us is always this positive?
If Paul, driven as he was, in jail, persecuted, could imagine thinking of such grand emotions, then surely we, with much less provocation in our lives, can do so as well.
Be assured that positivity will turn our lives to the good.
And it won’t take long.
