“All things you seek to make your value greater in your sight limit you further, hide your worth from you, and add another bar across the door that leads to true awareness of your Self.” A Course in Miracles, FIP ed.
Attracting things that we want–material and immaterial–will improve our lives, but our worth has already been decided by God. We do not have to change to merit His approval; our value is beyond measure already.
So if we think that attracting success as the eyes of the world see it will “complete” us, or make us happier always, is just not the case. These are the things that rot in barns, that are not intangible. We need simply to rest in the certainty that we have worth already.
We won’t add to that worth by the law of attraction, though the law will give us improved lives.
Don’t waste time trying to “prove” our worth to God. He created us; He knows that we are valuable already. Focus instead on seeking to become aware of the true Self who we are. This true Self, if focused upon, will give us great lives beyond compare.
