“Whatever you pay attention to is what you create.” Living with Joy, by Sanaya Roman
I hear a very serious warning for myself in this assertion from Sanaya. If I pay attention to worry, I will create more of it. If I pay attention to something else out there that concerns me, it will grow–be it a good or bad thing.
We are focusing when we pay attention. And focus invokes the law of attraction.
Better to distract the mind than create something that is adverse.
But there is a positive way to view this assertion as well. When we focus on those things we love, they too grow. And our lives get better. This is why I view the law of attraction as a way that God benefits those of a secular bent. He doesn’t demand anything of us except that we focus our minds on what is good.
And it will be ours.
